Happy Tuesday!  It is now May, and that means another 2012 in 2012 update!  I meant to get this posted earlier, but I kept looking for any way to make the numbers come out positive.  No luck.  :/

Updates

With the return of Laz to WoW in April, it made for some shifting in my character ranks.  Another large, looming factor affecting my character rosters is preparation for Mists of Pandaria.  I am currently what to do with whom in regards to who will continue on into with Mists with me.

Listed below I have the toons that affected my total in a negative manner.

Characters Deleted

Aerora

• I deleted my wee Level 22 Aerora to make her my 85 Paladin, giving Laz back his Paladin’s name.  So Lazheward is no longer on my 2012 list.

Ahyzrael

• I have decided to level a second Resto Shaman to make into a Pandaren when the expansion is released.  I came to this decision because as much as I love Draenei, they have horrible healer raiding racials.  (+1 to Hit is really useless to me.  heh)  The Pandaren racials are pretty high-end (double food buffs, FTW).  However, I cannot bring myself to make Effy a panda.  So I now have Miehiu (see below) and Ahyzrael is no longer on my 2012 list.  Whether she stays in my Character Pages remains to be seen.

Non-Leveling Character Changes

• Lazheward - Lazheward has been removed (replaced with Aerora)
• Vaadaree - Vaadaree has moved to Horde and is now a Troll

Characters (Alphabetical)

Effræti – Leveled DK Effy from 79 to 81, with no BoAs.  DK Effy is Blood, cuz that is how you play a DK.  (Or at least how I do.)

I am currently leveling DK Effy with Laz’s Shaman, Kazakul.

Back in Wrath, Kazakul and my DK Caeridwen would raid together when Laz and Effy were tapped out for the week.  Raid-a-holics much?  Back then, Laz’s Shaman was Resto (I taught him everything he knows!) and Caer was still a tank (though, a Frost tank at that time – I miss Frost tanking!).  We played them as a test in role reversal, since Laz was always a tank previous his recent return to WoW.  He taught me to tank (though, I had to learn the mechanics of a DK mostly on my own) and I taught him how to heal.  Surprisingly, Laz had never played a healer past a very low-level one.  So imagine my chagrin when upon our re-acquaintance recently he told me he was raid healing on SWTOR!

Anyway, I am still tanking, but Kazakul is currently leveling as an Elemental Shaman.  Well shall see if the tank/healer combo reemerges.

Miehiu – Leveled my new Shaman from 1 to 23, with BoAs, Recruit-a-Friend, and guild bonuses.  Miehiu I am leveling as Resto.

I am currently leveling Miehiu with Laz’s new Recruit-a-Friend Mage, Xiaochen.  They are leveling super fast with the XP buffs available to them!  The plan is for both of these toons to be Pandaren come MoP.

Miehiu will likely be my main Resto Shaman in MoP.  <gives Effraeti a margarita, some sunglasses, and a good book>

Raeviin – Leveled my Forsaken Warlock from 10 to 17, with no BoAs.  Raeviin I am leveling as Demonology.

I am currently working my way through the Silverpine quests on my Forsaken.  It is interesting to finally start seeing the Worgen/Forsaken story from the other side.  And though I am fascinated to see Sylvanas’ reasoning for doing what she does – I still think she is a tad nutty.
